*CONSUMER BE AWARE - April 24, 2024 statement*

It has come to our attention that there was an attempted fraudulent telephone scam from a deceitful person who likely was monitoring the obituary page of this website.  Within minutes of posting a current obituary, this person obtained enough information and their telephone number and attempted to collect credit card information from deceased's family member for the "death certificate that Matthew was working on".  This type of behavior is not anything new to families that are in the arrangement process.  We have also experienced direct solicitation to the families we are serving from other funeral homes, monument dealers, real estate developers, financial planners and more that have breeched the Golden Rule.

We will continue to be available at anytime to care for families in need. 

Matthew Genereux and his family continues to be the dedicated and familiar face for the community while other local funeral homes have closed, changed ownership or shuffled their supervising management.
